The meaning of "Armata Rustica" is "Rustic Army" that in italian sounds like "Armata Rossa" or, in english, "Red Army". These men come from a far far away village named "PiccoloPaeseAgreste", or, in english, "TinyCountryTown". The team was founded during the LXIX celebration of the "Day of the Tentacle", a celebration that brings to the memory the epic fight between the village's men, armed with pitchforks, picks and sledgehammers, and Pink Tentacle, the feared demon of Slaanesh. The village lost most of its inhabitants, but at the end the men could win and celebrate their victory in the Day of the Tentacle. So was founded this team, filled with countrymen, not very trained in any skill, to remember the village's inhabitants the epic fight against the enemy. 3rd Match: Armata Rustica faced the feared chaos team named Sunset, and it was a blood bath. After two easy wins, the shadow of the lost and the fear of the massacre falled upon Armata Rustica's men. 5th Match: Chaos is chaotic. This is. Never less, never more. So this match against When Care Bears Go Bad, was a fair match, hard, but nothing like the blood bath Armata Rustica had against Sunset. 6th Match: In this match Armata Rustica assisted to the first appearence on the field of Giangiorgio Giorgiogian, a stupid guy that works in TinyCountryTown as a mule, moving heavy things here and there, pulling plows and carts. He demonstrated to be a solid mass of muscle power, but an empty head filled with flies. 9th Match: Spectacular match ended in a tie with 4 TDs scored per part. Raccoglitori di Castagne's players did a great job dodging Armata's players and could score four times in numerical disadvantage. TinyCountryTown's folks liked a lot what they saw on their WizVision screens and the hope is that Armata could continue to play in this way. |
