| Hi there, this is a team I like to call completely harmless Chaos. So what I want to do with them is Elfbowl! I know that I will be accused of Cherrypicking quite often because of that, but I won't play truly bashy teams with loads of claws/mighty blows on them. Yes, I am a whimp. For all of you who like a little fluff with their opponents, read the flavor text about the origin of the team below: Once upon a time it came to pass that the mighty sorcerer and aspiring BloodBowl coach Warmduscher made a plan to strike fear in the hearts of all the Teams in the known world. He planned to summon the great Chaos Gods themselves to play for him in his new team. With them as players his team would be absolutely unstoppable and would crush every opponent. After a long time to research the proper methods to contact the Gods of Chaos, he began with a mighty Summoning, a calling so great that the very existence of the world was in danger. After the ceremony that took weeks and used up very expensive and rare incredents, finally a humanoid figure stood in the smoke-filled summoning circle. Warmduscher: I greet you, oh mighty Khorne, God of Blood and Slaughter. "Khorne": Uhm, actually I'm not Khorne. When given the Choice between utterly destroying some backwater Planet and playing some stupid game on an even more backwater Planet, the result is pretty obvious. Warmduscher: Oh, so you are one of his most trusted and powerful Lieutenants, send to act in his name? "Khorne": Well, I'm more a simple Chaos Warrior with the Rank of most unimportant and expendable Minion. We minions diced about who has to come to fulfill this shitty call and I lost. But there was still hope. Maybe one of the other greater Gods would heed his call and come to crush his enemies. But another two summonings only left him with another two simple Chaos Warriors. But not all was lost. The major gods declined to come, but maybe one of the countless minor, unnamed Gods of Chaos would awnser his summonings. So he again made his preperations and summoned the God of Headaches. Again the result was only a humanoid figure, this time in the form of a simple Beastman. Warmduscher: You are not really the God of Headaches, I suppose? "God of Headaches": No. Warmduscher: Let me guess. You're one of his most unimportant Minions. "God of Headaches": No, I'm the most powerful and trustworthy of all his Minions. Warmduscher: And how many Minions has your God? "God of Headaches": Uhm, well he has me and an one-legged Goblin. Now truly all hope was lost. But Warmduscher is always a Coach who tried to cope with the situation at hand and so he summoned a bunch of other minor Gods which gave him enough Beastmen to start a Team with. And so they embarked on their Journey to greatness. [(Which they failed horribly so far, despite shameless cherrypicking and avoiding of real dangers :P.) Hey, at least we even won some games against those pesky annoying Elfbowl players. And we didn't hurt too many of them] |
