The Skeletal No-Hopers are the resurrected remains of the "Lowtown Losers", one of the worst bloodbowl teams in the history of the sport. The Losers were massacred in their first game by the famously ferocious "Huff'n'Puff Halfings" after refusing them fresh cut oranges in their half-time break. Seeing some hidden strategic potential in a team that can't pick up the ball, can't run, can't catch, can't block and breaks very easily, the deceased team was bought into the world of the Undead by their not-so-famous, but aptly named Necromatic coach, Gallahbrains. Thus, the Skeletal No-Hopers were born. - (Jan. 5th '06 ) Team is founded - The Team is born. Initially submitted as the "Sucksville Skeletons", the team proposal was rejected, and the team was renamed to the astronomicly less offensive, "Skeletal No-Hopers". - (Jan. 5th '06) First match - The No-Hopers play their first game against "Highland Hippies" ... a High Elf team with only seven players. Living up to their namesake, The No-Hopers lose in stunning fashion, 3-1. - (Jan. 5th '06) Against all expectations The No-Hopers record their very first win against the orc team, Quetespachurren! The orc coach was indeed unlucky, but how exactly this occurred is still a serious conundrum, especially considering the 3-0 scoreline and the fact that the orcs were actually on the field at the time. - (Jul. 28th '06) Embarassing Loss - The No Hopers lose embarassingly 2-0 to F-grade team, Los Meurto, and in the process handed the Necromatic Coach Noddy his first ever win on Fumbbl. The No-Hopers were left to drown their sorrows however a bunch of undead Skeletons go about doing that.
