This was a funny TV comedy show about a crack police squad that were in fact completely incompetent. If you've never seen it then download it or borrow it from someone. It had some rather well known cameos and some people who went on to be recognisable in other more popular TV shows too. This was an early forerunner to mock-reality comedy shows like 'The Office'.
