Team History

Founded in 2411, the Poisoners were the plaything of Lord Moraethan Kalin'nvar, a Warpstone magnate of the shadowy city. He set his team to play in the toughest of all environments, the Black Box, and enjoyed the slaughter for many matches, even seeing some success when the team made it to the third round of the infamous Black Cup III before being eliminated by the eventual winners Pro Popes.

When Kalin'nvar was assassinated (ironically, by poison, and allegedly by his own family) some six months later, the team fell into ruin, and the players drifted into other pursuits.

Four years later, Lord Kalin'nvar's daughter, Melithen, an Elf of keen financial instincts, saw the vast earning potential of a well-run Blood Bowl team and reassembled the squad, moving them to the less-bloodthirsty Ranked division. 'I like death as much as the next Druchii, but I prefer coin,' she was quoted as saying.

Not long after their return, the Poisoners made it to the Quarter Finals of Dark Elf XFL X.
