Hailing straight out of the dreaded Eight Peaks, the Thirteens may be the only Skaven team in Old World history to be led by a Dwarf. Anzelak Stonefist, the disgraced son of the king of Karak Hadrin, is known throughout much of the land for his failed attempt to depose his father. Nowadays the alcoholic runesmith plies his trade with the sworn enemy of his kin: the Skaven.

‘The beauty of my lads, you see,’ he tells us, hiccoughing from all the Bretonnian wine we’ve plied him with, ‘is they’re totally expendable. I mean: they’re vermin. They’re scum. Fans love it when we win; they love it when we get smashed into the ground. It’s win-win for anyone in it for the coin. And, let me tell you this for nothing, I’m in it for the coin.’

Dwarf Coach Anzelak Stonefist considered retiring the team during the midst of their third game when Blitzer Prazik Sharptooth and Gutter Runner Voramute Sqeek were dealt career-ending injuries at the hands of a brutal undead team.

However, the Thirteens regrouped and came back from one down to win the game 3-1. He just didn't have the heart to split them up - especially after the franchise received five requests in as many minutes for other lucrative match-ups.
