The Righteous Impunity are an ancient breed, with their fabled introduction to the ranked major league dating all the way back to 2504. Also emerging at the time was a completely unknown coach making his very first appearance in the professional world of blood bowl. It's with this team that paradocks is said to have paid his dues to the sport. Originally owned by the Deep Krimson Foundation before control was snatched up in a dubious takeover move by their current holders the Obsidiom Corporation towards the end of 2504.

The team was initially very popular when they sprung onto the scene, becoming known for an unpredictable and reckless style of play that fans loved. While finding matches for the team was no problem due to their often less than stellar performance, this made for prosperous beginnings. Eventually the gimmick wore off and a lot of fans lost interest in the Impunity brand of blood bowl, also it was getting a lot harder to find games with their on-field performance drastically improving.

What followed was an 8 year hiatus as the team drifted around the globe looking for action as deal after deal fell through. Despite an unimpressive record, they carry with them such a fearsome reputation that many squads breakdown in sheer panic and devastation at the very thought of facing such lunatics on the grass. Having never conceded a match in their club's history - the impugned ones are far from a pushover by anyone's standards!

In 2514 a grand fixture was set to take place for the 1st round of the Warpstone Open IX qualifier between the Righteous Impunity and one of the oldest dwarven teams of all-time the KAMU Techies. For the dwarves weak-ish roster at the time however, the current RI squad was deemed too strong to play against and preparations were made to prevent the match from happening. While the Impunity's hopes in the tournament were more or less destroyed by missing the match, with paradocks himself narrowly avoiding serious legal action to have him barred from competing once more. Strangely the other coach seemed to be supported by league officials in what was occuring - what can i say? that's the scandalously corrupt world of pro blood bowl folks.
