Motto: To be the best that I can with the gifts that I have Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate offers an energetic and enthusiastic learning environment for inquisitive Snotlings. We produce confident and self-motivated young Snotlings who are fully prepared for the challenges of the future. Our Snotlings leave knowing that they have benefited from an outstanding educational experience, and take with them the knowledge that this privilege brings with it a duty of ethical leadership and social responsibility. At QEC we are committed to fostering a love of learning, a wide tolerance and understanding of different cultures and beliefs, and a great sense of fun and enjoyment in the process. Here the independent spore becomes the independent Snotling, equipped to make a success of its life and to contribute to the welfare of other individuals and society. We are proud of our history and we also look ahead to the future, equipping our pupils to become the next generation of thinkers and shapers. When our Snotlings leave we hope that they will be balanced, creative and thoughtful individuals who have made the most of their potential and are ready for adult life. Either that or they will have died, with honour, on the Blood Bowl pitch. |
