<div style="text-align:left;width:600px;">Upon witnessing the divinity that is Blood Bowl, a monastary of dark elves high in the mountains dedicated themselves to the practice of the ultimate sport in the hope it would please their Gods.

So it was that they sat down and scribed in the sands the names of 16 warriors and assigned the nameless to these roles. When a brother falls, through death or injury, another rises to fulfill the warrior's destiny. And so it is these humble and unassuming vicious monks take to the field in the hope it will run red with the blood of their victims and make their masters proud.
