Undefeated Champions of the Lightning League Season One.

Crumpton is a small village in a serene little valley near the southern border of Blomozvakia.
In the beginning of the twentieth century, iron ore was found in the mountains surrounding
the settlement and provided ample job opportunities for the great majority of the townsfolk
for the next seventy eight years. Schools training engineers, mining firm managers,
manual ore extraction specialists cropped up and the economy soared.

In the country-wide economic crisis in 1982, the demand for iron ore diminished, partially
due to aluminum lobbyists claiming the local iron ore contained dangerously high levels
of iron, possibly leading to iron poisoning in any potential consumers.

As a result, Crumpton is merely a shadow of its former glory today, the locals having
to choose between three options:
1. Alcohol
2. Migration
3. Bloodbowl

Thanks to the lasting nationwide bloodbowl craze, the citizens fit and willing enough
to play are without doubt the best provided for people of Crumpton. Their lives, if short,
are filled with admiration by their peers. As such, candidates for the Underdogs
are rarely in short supply.

The Crumpton Mighty Underdogs' career began in the Blackbox division but they
have now extended their grasp to the local Leagues for greater glory and shiny
trophies. For legal reasons they go by a different name out of their home division.
