Playing home games in the Savage Orc settlement of 'Stick City' is certainly colourful. Nicknamed 'The Potters' for their bare red clay pitch, players from both teams frequently end the match covered in red mud, if they survive. The pitch is also the source of the raw material for Stick City's only cultural expression (outside Blood Bowl) - crude earthenware that, bewilderingly, is incredibly fashionable among the intellectuals of Nuln. This leaves the pitch dotted with potholes that endanger the ankles of the less heavy-footed teams, such as those of the Elves. Stick City fans wear headdresses of red and white feathers and have developed an array of yodelled 'chants' that intimidate opposing teams, visiting fans, and referees alike.

The team itself is struggling to find tactics other than 'crush them!', which, while it might be enough for rookie pointy-ears, is ineffective against the hard-headed Dwarfs. The current 'star' players are Grignash Bloodgums, the Blitzer, who has developed a talent for getting involved in everybody else's fights, and Urung the Rumbler, the Troll for whom one fight in rarely enough.
