It all began with Rigg, the Old One who the Lizardmen knows as the Outcast, Mother of Kalith, She Who Exists Outside of the Order of Things and who the Amazonians worships as the Goddess of Warfare, Blood, Koka and Violent Death. Slann are space farers, star travelers and dimension wanderers. This holds doubly true for Rigg who upon one of her travels came to our Earth. Seeing that the amphibians of Earth was not sentinent, she was much surprised by the human children who seemed to worship Slann idols who had a rich and powerful mythos surrounding them, yet held no mystic power. Being the trickster of the Old Ones she thought of a great joke and she gave the idols true life and brought them to the Old World to play Blood Bowl. Will the first Slann team to win a major tournament not be true Slann, but the animated children idols of distant Terra? Or shall they fail and the joke be on Rigg? Only time can tell. And Rigg know better than most that both time and fate can be bent and twisted... |
