Sheikh Saqr bin Zayed Al Nahyan the youngest son of a Sultan came across the sport of Blood Bowl on his travels around the Old World and fell in love with the brutal bloody game. Upon returning to his home city of Nejaz Zayed set about putting together a team and in an unusual step for the son of a wealthy ruler decided that he would take to the field as the captain of the team. Tired of the decadent life Blood Bowl offered a way out of the tedium to a life of excitement and adoration from the masses instead of derision.

After forming his ragbag team of no hopers Zayed just needed a competition to blood them in, luckily it turned out the CabalVision Inter-regional Blood Bowl League just happened to be be after a team from Araby as it began it's first season.
