A new start for Mosstown:


Following the devastation of The Mighty Mootlings in 2018; coach Miceycraft decided to retire to the village of Mosstown.

When the so called NAF rebooted the rules and rumours of a throne of strawberry cake (or was that blood?) surfaced, the ex-coach couldn't help himself and he recruited the local town to form a new team.

'Lord Willow' Thorndare Rosewood The Fourth

When coach Miceycraft found him outside the town, selling bark sticks to passing strangers, the coach knew he had found his next star.

Once Lord Willow took to the pitch it was clear that the coach had made the right choice. An average of 2 casualties per game and 2 MVPs in his first 10 matches meant he was the first player to skill. He is now the fastest treeman around.

Dave The Tree

There are Legends that everyone knows someone called Dave.

We know a guy called Dave and he is a tree.

Rondo 'Jellylegs'

Every team needs a star quarterback. A player who rock steady no matter the odds. Rondo is the man for the job.

Nicknamed 'Jellylegs' as he holds the record (7hours) for most time standing on a bowl of jelly.

Rumpty 'Tumpty' Toes

Commonly found in the Halfling Mess celebrating victories, Rumpty is the renegade of the Mootlings. Every team needs a hothead who will do anything to see victory and Rumpty fills that role perfectly. If you want someone to land a loop the loop throw into a gang of angry orks then this is the Hobbit for the job. Rumour has it that he once stole a Dwarven Deathroller and used it to score 15 touchdowns in one match!

Fern Thornbridge

Fern Thornbridge is the founding member of the Mighty Mootlings. Fern came to her fortune after selling cheese wheels to Skaven renegades. As owner and manager of the team naturally she had to play a few games with them first! After realising her playing skills were not quite good enough to meet the high standards she expects from her team; she has since retired and now manages and coaches the team full time.

Finn 'Hardhead'

Finn was born into the sport. The toughest Halfling around. His father was the Great Jimbo 'Jarhead' Finfather, a legendary player of the Seenburg Seahawks, who is rumoured to have killed a Ogre during a particularly brutal game. Finn plans to continue in his fathers footsteps and has his eyes set on killing at least 5!

Rob Roseberry

Rob grew up in the hills of Aver March just south of Stirland. As a child he always loved sports, especially those with balls. Every night he would practice his throwing and catching. For almost a decade he passed the ball against the wall of his house. This continued until one day he heard news of a team forming in Mosstown. Rob went to tryouts and just by the fact he knew what a ball was made it onto the original team.

Frobo 'Frogslegs'

A legend of countless matches. Frobo has been through it all! Broken bones, sprains, torn ligaments and even major haemorrhage. Despite this Frobo is a survivor. He may not be too good at playing the ball but he sure knows how to take a hit.

Gruff

Gruff is a dreamer and a key driver in the formation of the original team. He always had big plans for the Halfling race and forming a professional team was a main part of them. He knew that for the Halfings to be respected by the other sentient species it would be important for them to prove themselves on the pitch. Since then Gruff has developed a harsh training regimen to make sure the Flings that play for the Mootling's are the best of the best!

Elle 'Treefell'

Although not technically a sportman. Elle is so small she managed to sneak onto the pitch during the team's first game. After she was mistaken for the ball by the opposing team the coach decided to keep him on as having one of your players thrown around by both sides seemed like a real advantage.

Xan Pan Fan

Xan always wanted to join the circus as a juggler. However during 2510 his audition with the local troupe didn't exactly go to plan and he was almost eaten my a hungry troll. Fortunately for Xan his escape was witnessed by Miceycraft, the Mootling's future manager. 5 years later when Miceycraft formed his team the talents of Mr Fan were not forgotten. Xan's juggling skills were quickly adapted to ball handling and he is now an essential part of the team.

Nola 'Feather'

As light as a feather. As sharp as a beesting. As tasty as a pie.

Rick 'Pick'

Rick is the Master Chef incarnate. Without him there would be no halftime feast and no second breakfast. No matter what the team fancies Rick can make it. It is rumoured that half the Mootling's fans only come for Rick's food at half time. Perhaps one day the team will actually be famous for winning!

Colt 'Brookfield'

Colt 'Brookfield' is the supplementary mayor elect of Mosstown. This honorary position is know as the 'Feast Master'. When the Mosstown Munchers were formed Colt suggested that if he wasn't allowed to play there would be enforced rationing for all his subjects. Naturally there was no way a Halfling could survive with any less than 7 meals a day so Colt was invited onto the team.

Alexi Brexi

Alexi Brexi is possibly the most useless of all Halflings. Noone is sure why his is on the team but once you join the Munchers you commit for life. Despite this Alexi has shown he worth on during many matches by carry water and extra cookies for the rest of the team to eat during the half time feast.

Rumpty Tumpty

Rumpty Tumpty sat on a wall.
Watching Ham United.
Everytime they scored a goal.
