History
After Lister was beaten up another time, sitting back in Hell and waiting to get his Body resurrected, great Baal stepped over to him and said:
"Look Lister, you're my Bodyguard, one of my best men, you killed hundreds of so-called Heroes and you were defeated only a couple of times. I've got a new Mission for you! The Old World Chaos Gods challenged us .. US ... to proof, that we rightly claim our piece in the Chaos Society.
You have to form a Team for this ... what was is called ... Blood Bowl thing ... and show 'em, what we are capable of! Go, form a Team, take any Man you want, train 'em, bring 'em on the field and then crush some Bones!"

Lister was proud to be elected by his Master to be the Leader of a Bloodbowl Team, what ever this might be. He studied the Game as a fan (or should i say Hooligan) and came to the conclusion, that Bloodbowl is the legalized way to kill people. That was something he liked. Be allowed to come to the Towns of Human, Elves and other Overworld Dwellers, smash them right in front of their fans and then leave town again with a bite or two .... it didn't took him much time to gather his first Lineup around him. Soon, the other great Warriors Colenzo, Achmel and Bartuc were with him, followed by their Henchmen, Snapchip, Geleb, Toorc, Bremm, Wyand, Maffer and Pitspawn.

With the Advice, better not to die too often, these eleven Abominations from Hell were sent to the Old World to bring terror and fear in the Name of Baal over the Bloodbowl Fields!

Game 1: away versus Predators of the Depths (0-2 loss)
So equipped, the Tristram Tyrants stepped on the Field for their first match.... and it was a mess. They played versus a bunch of Lizardmen and they were quite good in the killing and maiming stuff ... that's what they've done their whole life. But lack of strategy, missing ball handling and not knowing how to run on the slippery grass made them loose their debut with 0-2.
Baal was not very amused about it, but the excuse, that they killed some of their opponents and the Predators had to retire after the match made him happy enough not to punish the Tyrants too harsh ... for now.

Game 2: home versus da Plague (1-3 loss, ff decrease)
Baal ran around, crushing every Beastmen in his way in his Frenzy! "You lost 1-3 in your second game ... versus ... versus some already dead and stinking Meatballs!!!! What happened there, you were ordered to make me Proud! But now, already our first fans turned their backs on us and left game early ...soooooo? Lister? What was it?", he shouted at Lister, mere inches from his face, spitting his hot and acidic Odem at him.
"Well, my Master", Lister began to search for the right words, "we had a very good beginning, the game was just set up and the first two necro players left the field. But you never sent us out against undead creatures before in any battle we fought. We were not aware, that these guys are... hm ... unkillable. We had a good offense and scored early. We had a good defense as well holding til the very last moment before the whistle, but these undead seemed to have some higher beings watching and aiding them. Perhaps the other Chaos Gods want to upset us and guided them throug the play. It was, as if they were so slippery, that we just pushed them around and it seemed, that they made many blocking mistakes and other failures, but something just beat us down nonetheless, as if some Highlord or Higher Demon itself crushed our team today. And this Werewolf ... Slayer is his Name, he chopped our Henchmen to pieces and we were cut down to just 7 Players for Half 2. And they stole our Playbook to set up a perfect Defense against us and after that drive was lost, they were so on top, that they managed a stunning Blitz on us for the next drive, they made an onside kick, the ball never touched our Hands anymore ... it was not our fault, Boss!", Lister hissed to his Master, trying to remove the burning spit from his face.
"Well, i'll visit the other three great Chaos Gods and tell them, to play by the Rules, but for the next game, you either get a win ... at least a draw and some dead opponents ... or you have to come around with a bigger excuse than the stupid stuff you told me right now!" Baal grumbled to Lister, turned around, ripped the Guts out of another Beastman crossing his Path and vanished out of sight. .... "Well ... Boss ... erm ... we're just 10 men for our next match ....." Lister whispered in fear for the Anger of Baal, he would face in his near future!

Game 3: away vs Karad's Feast (0-1 loss, ff decrease)
The Door's were shut, nobody knows, what happened behind that door, the whole team were locked up behind ... nobody wants to know. But what happened? Well, the remaining 10 Tyrants travelled to the Karad's Feast, another Chaos Team. It was Karad's Offense and they slashed through the ranks of the Tyrants, like they were nothing. Six Tyrants were sent to KO Box during Half 1, most of them quite early. Nonetheless, the Tyrants managed to stop Karad's Offense just some Yards before the Endzone. Thinks looked not that bad for Half two, 5 Guys returned from KO Box and after a quite fancy Trick Play and a successfull Pass, one of the Tyrants stand free and rushed to the endzone of the Karad's Feast. But well, he slipped, fell to the ground, hurt his Head and was stunned, the ball flew around the field and the Feast got hold of it. A lot of further bad luck made it an easy TD for the Feast then, two turns to go for the Tyrants ... they set up an all or nothing play, overloading one side, rushing through with 5 guys and running through with the ball. Unfortunatly, one Feaster made it through the lines and knocked the Ballcarrier over. The Ball scattered around a bit, nobody of the other Tyrants was able to pick it up and so it ended between some Feast Players. The last Moves made weren't successful and so, it was the third loss in the third game. Not enough, in this very last turn, Bartuc the Bloody got Seriously Injured and will miss the next game ... so, another one with ten Players on the field ....
The Fans don't seem to like such a loosing team that much and so, another load of 'em turned over to other teams with more success, leaving just a few fans around cheering for the Tyrants.

Game 4: away versus Stinging Fleas (1-2 loss, ff increase)
After this Match, in which the Trants played quite good, but gave away a victory or at least a draw because of bad Ballhandling, Baal banned this team out of his realm and said, he would kill any of 'em if they should ever come back. From this Day on, the Tyrants live in Exile in the destroyed town of Tristram and are from now on known as the TRISTRAM TYRANTS.

History continued
In the following match versus Texas Hold'em (which was lost 1-3), Baal sent out some of his demons. They saw their chance when Bartuc the Bloody was pushed into the crowd. Fast, they gathered around him and beat him to Death. On the field, all hell break loose, as the Tyrants wanted to avenge their comrade and beat Baal right in his face for this treacherous nasty trick. They smashed the Woodelves to bloody pieces, but once again, they were not able to move the ball, neither pick it up, pass it or just look at it for longer than 5 seconds without dropping to the ground. So, right now, Bartuc's soul waits for a new body good enough for him. Unfortunatly, he just trained his old body enough for increasing in Bloodbowl abilities. Something, that he has to do all anew with the next body to come.

But Baal did not stop to give the Tyrants a tough life. On their road trip to the Elanthirs Kämpar, Baal managed to capture 3 Players, so the Tyrants had to start the Match with just eight Players. Lucky for them, the remaining three Guys escaped the Hold of Baal and showed up shortly thereafter ... but to that time, the Tyrants were 0-1 back already. But the Extra Training in Ball Handling payed off. With full strength, the Tyrants scored for a tie after half one, despite the fact, that a minion of Baal threw a rock at one Tyrant, knocking him out. To the Start of the second Half, this Minion threw another Rock and knocked another Tyrant out. The Kämpar saw a chance for a turnover and dashed through the lines of the Tyrants, surrounding the Ballcarrier with four player. He wanted to dodge away, but fell on his snout and was KO as well. Must've been very amusing, because the Elves started to laugh and forgot to pick up the ball, so, the Tyrants managed to snatch the ball away, sprint to the Line of Scrimmage, throw a Pass to a Chaoswarrior and run across the whole field to take the lead for 2-1 ! For the first time in their career they came back and for the first time, they scored more than once in a game ! Then, a riot broke out. Lister hired some guys before the match to watch out for Baals Minions, after what happened the Game before ... and they found him. It was over too short, the Tyrants were irritated and anxious, if some further tricks will await them, so the Kämpars managed to cover the field in just 2 Turns. A Blitz on their ballcarrier was a success, but his comrade managed to pick up the scattering ball despite the three guys surrounding him and dodged through the three guys for a TD and the final Result of a 2-2!
But well, it's getting better ... and the Tyrants were very happy, that Bartuc rejoined the team, after he found himself a new Body. For the first time in their history, the Tyrants are able to play with a full strength team and one backup player!

Game 7: away vs Naggaroth Wanderes (3-0 win, ff increase)
Finally! Lister hired enough men to not let Baal do any tricks, the new Body from Bartuc was incredible good and he was able to score twice. The Chaos Gods were mocking about a scoring Chaoswarrior, so they replaced his Hands with Claws after the game, to not let this happen again. Achmel the Cursed played like a superstar. He alone crippled 4 Opponents. The Wanderers, on the other hand, seemed to have their own demon hunting them. Nothing worked out for them, many men fell down sprinting, many others fell while dodging. But nonetheless. Lister gave a huge Party after the first victory of his Crew!

History continued, part 2
After that very first win, the Tyrants made an incredible run through their opponents, pushing their record from 1/1/6 to 4/2/6, getting back some of their old fans and recruiting a whole lot of new fans cheering for them in their games. Team training went very well, exept good old Wyand who injured himself during practise on the blocksled and having a bad back since then. He'll get a new Body as soon, as some money is free to purchase one for him.
Unfortunatly, the second Beastman looking somewhat ... ugly ... got killed in a game versus some orcs ... Twice .... and so, the Tyrants have to go back to Training camp once again ...

Game 13: away versus Arkham Avalanche(2-1 win, ff increase)
The game after the rebuilt of the Team was a great success. Wyand Voidbringer ignored the Pain in his back, after he heard, that his well trained body will get burned andsubstituted by a fresh untrained one as soon as the money is there, played like a demi-god, securing the Ball under heavy fire and scoring the first TD, saving the offense of the tyrants, which nearly went to the Avalanchers. Not enough, he injured two Arkham Players and his foul Appearance Aura destroyed the Avalanchers passing game. Colenzo the Annihilator was the second guy in the tyrants ranks who had a great match, making some important blocks and injuring two enemies as well. He got elected as MVP after the game, so the Chaos gods bestowed him with some Claws after the match, to make him live for his name ... Annihilator. Achmel the Cursed showed his good standard skill repertoire, successfully blitzing a lot of catchers, who made it through the tyrants defense and so, the Tyrants won the match 2-1 and scored 5-0 casualities.

Game 17: away versus Proud to be a Looser (2-0 win, ff decrease)
This game startet quite well for the tyrants. First Block of the Match, first Casuality made by Colenzo the Annihilator against a poor Black Orc. The Apothecary came on the Field and saved the Black Orc from being crippled. This could've become a Bloodbath for the Loosers, with their apo gone that early in the game. But well, it became a bloodbath for the Tyrants. Maffer Dragonhand the Second was pushed into the crowd and got killed. The Tyrants fans were so angry about that, that they invaded the field thereafter and beat up some Orcs. But nonetheless, another Tyrant Beastman got killed in the match and the Apo was too lazy to make it to the field. "Wellwell, it's just a beastman, i don't care ...", he said.
The second half started with a perfect Defense for the Tyrants, some good blocks and perfect crowd control, so the Orcs had just a very slight chance to score, but nonetheless they nearly made it, after grabbing the ball out of some tacklezones, dodging around like elves an blitzing guys much stronger than them. Just one last step and it would've been a tie ... but the luck left the orcs and their ballcarrier fell to the ground. An easy Pickup for Bonesaw Breaker, a quick pass to Snapchip Shatter II and he ran to daylight, his whole team covering his back, to the final score of 2-0.
That was the ninth game in a row without loosing.

Game 19: home versus Scurn's Savages (1-2 loss)
"We bit off more than we can chew" said Lister after the Match. Very True! After 10 games without a loss, the Tyrants became overconfident and accepted a challenge from the brutal Savages, who killed Wyant Voidbringer II (apo was too slow to save him) and seriously injured Colenzo the Annihilator, as well as badly hurting Achmel the cursed and another Beastman. "Well, our next game will be tough, we'll be without Colenzo, one of our best players and we are a little short on numbers. The Air is getting thin against the better teams ... I think, we have to hire some extra muscles to help us out. I'll search for a good player and as soon as we have the money, we'll make the deal perfect!" was Listers last comment to the Match.
