Meet the Normies, your modern, average blood bowl family.

Norman Normie had the perfect life. A beautiful wife, a good paying job, a new Buick in the driveway, and 2.3 kids to make it all worthwhile. But when little Davy Normie came home from school with a lunchbox that emitted a strange glowing light, everything changed.

It turned out that light from the lunchbox Davy found on his way home from school was an interdimensional portal. And when Norm and his wife, Vivian, looked into it, it transported the whole family and most of the neighborhood to a brutal time when orcs, elves, lizardmen, dwarves and goblins competed for supremacy in a violent sport that looked a lot like what Norm always watched on the TV on Sunday afternoons—only with a lot more blood, and a good deal more death.

Now, the Normies only way back home is to play this brutal sport in the hopes they can win enough games to reopen that portal and get back to their average, peaceful, all-American life.

Will they be able to do it before half of the family gets disemboweled by a blitzing troll? Will Norm ever let Davy play? Will Marvin Mitchell finally ask Veronica Normie on a date? Will Mr. Endicott fire Norm if he doesn’t complete a pass? Will that odd-ball neighbor Clyde stop drooling long enough to pick up the ball? Will we ever learn why the milkman has a special gleam in his eye every time he looks at Vivian?
