| There are some serious doubts if this team can play real BLOOD BOWL.... The team name means butterfly in the Elvish language Quenya from Middle Earth... The other name that the team almost choose was Prancers and Dancers.... but the t-shirt concessionaires beat the heck out of the team... so the team chose Wilwaren and if the concessionaires knew what it meant, it would be a crushed dead butterfly... Created for the <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=1766> Amerikings League</a> as part of the "Uneasy Alliance" Coach Ug is approaching the tournament with strategy of Run and Shoot. In his limited wisdom, Ug is applying an approach of divide and conquer to Run and Shoot so <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=119947> Bashers and Dashers </a> will take the Run half of the Run and Shoot offensive strat... [note: this is Ug's typical orc logic...] and this Wilwarin team will shoot... or be shot... BTW player names come from the <a href=http://www.rialian.com/quenya-english.htm> Quenya-English Dictionary</a> This team is cursed or at least their apoth is: Game 1: fails to prevent a death Game 2: not used Game 3: fails to prevent av -1 to Curumo the catcher Game 4: APOTH SUCCEEDED!!! Prevents a DEATH!!! Will the wonders never cease? Game 5: no casualties :) but still can't score in the second half... Game 6: MIRACLES!!! Apoth succeeded at preventing a niggle AND we scored 3 TDs! AND we won for the FIRST TIME! Game 7: Miracles continue!!! We win AND Apoth saves Tinwe life AND Lomion gets the first team interception AND Alcarin gets a +AG!!! |
