Dolgan Marauders

The Dolgan Marauders are one of the oldest teams still active. Founded back in summer 2003 they got a good start by winning four of their first five games. However, the fans didn't like their style of play, as the Marauders are there to show that Norse can play the ball. And they do it just beautiful. After losing a great part of their fanbase, the Marauders took a time off and went to wintercamp (some norsemen raiding parties, pillaging through several northern cities).

Now the coach has brought the team back together and they want to show the world, that running, passing, and scoring aren't boring and don't interfere with smashing one or two faces along the way.

The Marauders are the first team of their coach to reach a legendary TR above 200. But still the team goes through a tough time having problems to use their potential. Since their 27th game, they are without victory. And the fans get depressed about that.

On May the 29th, the Marauders lost two of their long-time teammates. Boerngar and Thorgoth. With two of their star Blitzers gone, it's now more than ever in the hands of Wulfgar, Urlf and Lantuk to lead the team. And the Marauders will focus even more on their unusual style of playing this game.


On May the 31st, the Marauders overcame their "not-winning-streak" of 19 consecutive games, by defeating the "Bitter Elves"

Meanwhile Urlf, Lantuk and Wulfgar had to quit playing. Leaving the Marauders in a desolate state. Bengram was about to pick up the leading position, but died on the pitch. Only time will tell, if the Marauders can recover from these losses and find their old strength again.
