Here's a team of poor women from india, who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty. After years of working on the fields and carrying water from the well. Well, anyway all these women can do to stay alive is run around and dodge away from all the aggressive men who just want to throw them to the ground and molest them. It seems it's not easy being a woman in the desolate parts of India. Where life is cheap. Of course, when given a chance to get some pay back, on the bb pitch, all to women were happy to take it. And when they get a chance to kick a man in the balls, they'll be doing just that.

And just some facts =)

Census 1991 reveals that 34.22 per cent rural women are cultivators, 44.93 per cent fall in the category of agricultural labourers and 1.60 per cent are engaged in livestock, forestry, fisheries and other allied activities. A study conducted by Women and Population Division of FAO in 1990 revealed that in developing countries women provide 70 percent of agricultural labour, 60–80 per cent labour for household food production, 100 percent labour for processing the basic food stuffs, 80 percent for food storage and transport from farm to village, 90 percent for water and fuel wood collection for households.


The picture on the left shows the team walking to their next away game, in a small crappy village 75km away. What, you thought we own a bus or some other means of transportation. Well, atleast it keeps the players from getting too fat (well, the starvation thingy makes sure of that also. -st injury means starvation, not strenght).

It is starting to look like the wear and tear of playing bb is starting to take it's price on these women, atleast they don't look as hot as they once did. Well, some players have already retired (parents forced them to marry or something...) So I guess we'll have to go out to the ghetto, to find some nice young replacements.
