During the 18th War of Mount Carc-Kalak , It seemed that all was lost for The Ironclaw clan ,The Greenskin horde Led by Harklax the Mighty and aided by Shagnasti the Vilest of All Goblin shaman.

The Ironclaw clan overwhelmed my the sheer number of rampaging orcs and goblins fled deeper into their mountain halls .The Dwarfs gathered in the Farrowind Hall for one final Defence .

It was then that Shagnasti , most foul of all goblin shamens came to the forefront of the Greenskins and Cast Forward the winds of Plague and Ruin upon the Farrowind Hall .
Not even the Sturdy Dwarfs of Clan Ironclaw could resist the foulness of the spell and plague spread among the las Dwarfs of Clan Ironclaw .

Delerious and Slowly, Painfully dying while the orcs waited outside the hall , laughing and destroying the ancient homeland of the once proud clan. It was Gargarak the 8th King of that name , the last King of the Ironclaw Clan, who was the first to Forsake the good gods the clan had followed through all time ,and with a mighty swing of his axe smashed the Altar in Farrowind Hall, with the last of his life strength he collapsed upon the ruined altar and forsoke those Gods, calling out for aid from any power that would listen ,he died .

Those who know of the fall of the Ironclaw Clan are still unsure whether Nurgle took intrest at this point or whether he had always been there , plotting and planning the downfall of the once proud Dwarfs .
Either way it was now that his presence was felt , Shagnasti was the first Greenskin to fall victim to the plague , Harlax the second , beyond that the order of their death was never recordered all that is known is only 3 of the greenskin horde survived the dark plague that came upon the armies of Harlax as they fled Mount Carc-Kalak .

An everlasting bargain was struck that day ,and the Dark Plague still haunts the Halls of Mount Carc-Kalak, those who abide beneath the mountain are smote with eternal infections often hovering on the edge of mental reason , and all who step foot upon the mountain are cursed from that day forth with a burning flesh eating virus ,sometimes this is fatal sometimes the victim recovers,

The local Clans and Tribes shun this Area and too them it is known only as the "Rotting Mountain "

The team started well in their first Match dominating a weaker foe and causing Death and Decay on all and sundry , in the second game the decay spread onto nurgles own troops , and the team is struggling to recover
