The Risky Rodents where founded by Doug Folander a middle aged adventurer who wished to settle down and run a tour guide business threw the misty mountains. Unfortunately he lacked the funds to set it up, an idea came to him of setting up a blood bowl team to help fund his business, but once again fate gave him a sharp poke in the eye, there where no players that where willing to play on without an initial deposit, fortunately Doug was a resourceful man and a resolution came to him. With a few of his adventuring buddies Doug descended into one of the many coxcombs honeycombing the old world. Several weeks latter they emerged battered but clutching there prize, or rather prizes. For from beneath the ground Doug and his buddies brought with them dozen or so skaven bound, gagged and held at sword point. Over the course of a week Doug forcefully taught them the rules of the game and that weekend they took to the blood bowl field. The result, a resounding loss there unwillingness to play combined with there rookie stature led to defeat after defeat but, Doug didn’t mind he was finally getting the funds he needed to start his tour guide business. Although at first unwilling blood bowl swiftly grew on the skaven as did the role of coach on Doug. Now though young and inexperienced the Risky Rodents win the occasional match under Doug will his sons run the tour guide business bringing much riches to the previously poor family. The result a strange mixture of agility and speed normally seen in Skaven teams but with a tactical mind that belies the human coach beneath.
