Huffersdield is the birthplace of the Human form of the game called Bloodbowl Tired of the high impact game played by the Dwarfs and wishing for a more free flowing and exciting game the Human teams came together in the Royal tavern in Huffersdield and broke away from the old Dwarf code of Bloodbowl The Human only form of Bloodbowl has had many ups and downs in it's short history but thanks to backing from SCI (spellcasters community infomation) TV and the introduction of the Tortley's Super League the Human code is at an all time high Unfortunatly this good fortune for the game in general is not reflected in the team from the birthplace of the game the Huffersdield Giants named so in honour of the Dwarf teams who founded Bloodbowl have fallen on hard times of late Poor performances on the field mean that crowd numbers have fallen which in turn is having an adverse effect on the teams performance so in a vicious circle the team is slowly falling apart but with new coach Solahma at the helm the Giants are in a time of rebuilding and will look to come back stronger than ever |
