Before Blood bowl there was anarchy, before the anarchy there was a world that was dead and a lanscape of lacklustre plains and little entertainment. Then from the bowels of the earth the lava spat out and scorched the surface of the world! The platau was black the farmlands ruined, war and famine followed as the races fought for survival and ultimate supremacy. However after many bloody years of unending and unwavering war a partial teaty was drawn - The Blood Bowl treaty!! From this day forwards wars were not fought in open battle but under tightly governed rules awash with blood and mayhem on a field of scorched earth and seasoned grass. From the ashes of the past and from the raw elements of the very earth they came and a deepening shadow fell accross the pitch as the 'Dragons Claws' swooped down to claim their place in the Blood Bowl archives. Their very first game was a memory that would not escape the minds of those who survived to tell the tale. Suffice to say it was blood and gore, they didn't score a TD but at the end of the first half the oposing team lay crippled & dying on the field. The Ref had no choice but to award a game won by default to the claws (He agreed to this whilst dangling from the horns of the minotaur by his shirt tail with an iron spike set to impale him if he fell on his head). Thus the Dragons Claws arrive and may the lord have mercy on us all as they wont have any!! |
