Curse of the Cityguard:
Old tales are told that a evil curse was put on the Altdorf cityguard, by a old and very nasty necromancer. Their players are prone to die rather than just break a leg like other players. So the Curse is still on, and when the curse is broken it is said that The Altdorf Cityguards will rise to unknown power. Untill then....they suck.

John Carrot: (Blitzer)
The Legendary 2nd Lieutenant Carrot was the first to learn about the Cityguard curse. A legend in Altdorf, totally unknown on the bloodbowl field. He tried to pressure the last bit of speed out of his feet before he feel over and landed on a huge spike planted in the ground. Thus the end of his carrier.

Henrich Strongarm: (Thrower)
First Sergeant Strongarm was the all time passer of the Cityguards
in the first 10 games they ever played. But a zombie from the dreaded team, Death Super-Stars made his life shorter than exspected. His wife and 3 young children are now taken care of by the Watch.

Andrew Williams:
Corporal Williams was a fine Blitzer, made out of the right stuff. He played 7 games with a injury that most players would retire on. Scored 4 TD's for The Cityguards before the Injury finally got the best of him. Now he coachs the Team Offence and hopefully giving of som of that willpower.

Peter Thomson:
Honor promoted to Seargent after death. He was one strong guy always pressing the weights to the limit when working out. He was a brilliant blocker and usually the opposing teams looked at his size and laughed at him. After a hit, they shut their mouths.

Morton Shifty
Lance Coporal Shifty, a runningback elf style, his elfish plays and moves made him a crowd favorit in the Cityguards and a lethal factor in a chase. The streets of Altdorf are narrow and filled with dead ends. Shifty didn't care he just jumped jinxed and ran throug till the criminal was caught. HE will be remembered for his plays on the field and his efford to keep the streets of Altdorf safe. He died against an orc, but to his comfort we took 3 of them with him in the grave.

1st Lieutenant Aguna
She was one of the only one left from the original team assebly, now she is dead. Second in command now falls to 2nd lieutenant. She was a bitch on the field, and only missed one game. She died under mystic conditions in the last seconds of a match, she had just been blocked and some hobgoblin in the near vicinity gave her a kick. She never recovered.

Lance Coporal Flee
A Fine officer and a great Catcher, was unfortunatly transfered to The Sylvanien CityGuard after a short (Very Short) affair with Vimes daugther. Vimes told him they needed a fast type like Flee and sent him off. He writes home ocasionally, Letters mostly written in blood. We can't really understand why he has this sudden craving for Blood. But he is doing well and playing for a team called "Count Flee's bowlplayers". He apperently is settling in fine, and must have had i uncle or something already a Count in the district.

First Sergeant Nobbs
Oh my, Nobbs has been a huge idol in the Guards for a long time. His great strength, his massiv body and iron fist's has got him to unknown limits in Blood bowl, and in the Watch. He had an injury in his leg, but just keept playing on. He didn't care his leg was a bit sore ad he so often said. You can only do so much with one leg, and still he kept the blocks flying and the headbutts hitting. This is a true hero and will be a honor team member of the Cityguard from now and till the day he dies. He is also a great influence to the Ogres joining the Watch nowadays. And he has picked his own replacement. And will continue to coach this player.
