Started off strong went 4-2-1 over first 7 games TR rose as the roster grew, causing me to play opponents who were more skilled, causing a horrible streak of poor outings. 1-2-4 over next 7 games. During that time we entered XFL Amazon, lost in first round to a team with a much higher TR, and way more skilled. Match 15 was the low point of the team history. Choose foolishly to play a dwarf team, had to concede due to overwhelming play. FF drops to a new low of 4. Team on the brink of retirement due to a serious decrease to fan following. Cut back team to drop the TR, waited for a tournament to try and resurrect the fan base. Entered the CCC Vidar international, played a warm up game vs MDL 1972 team, valley vikings, FF went up to 5. We stand on the brink of great things or ultimate faliure as we prepare for our first match vs a similarly rated Amazon in the first round. This is the turning point towards a reborn Isle of Women era or what will most likely be their retirement. Finished as Runner-up in Vidar Cup. FF is lower now than when we started the cup, and I'm down to 10 players. The 150 TR cap caused me to cut back to 11 players by the finals, and 2 players died in the finals. We must continue, if for no other reason than to get tough enough to release Gertrude from her curse as an undead member of the Hammerred Horrors. |
