Game 1: Rocky start against vampires. Right away my Troll Slayer is niggled (and then retired). Thoughts of team retirement occur but the staunch dwarfs hang in there and with a desperate defense manage to get a 1:0 victory.

Game 2: Shortest game in my fumbbl career so far against chaos. The dwarfs start the game, first block kills a chaos warrior, second block BH's a beastman. Before I know it my opponent conceeds and that's game 2 for the dwarfs. Plenty of cash provides a new Troll Slayer and finally an apo.

Game 3: Vampire again. Very similar to the first game the dwarfs with plenty of players BH'ed and many stunties knocked out. They hang in there though and win 1:0. A slayer has to miss the next game but new funds provide a 12th player.

Game 4: Grudge match against orcs. Quick initial score by the orcs followed by a lot of bashing for the rest of the half. Finally the runner breaks free and scores the equaliser. The second half consists of 6 turns in a tight cluster with virtually zero forwards or backward progress. Finally the runner breaks free on turn 6, scores and turn 7 and that's it for a nice 2:1 victory. Another reroll becomes affordable.

Game 5: Trying on the dead of Khemri. Big Mistake. Stopped the Khemri offence at the cost of one MNG, one killed (apo succeeds) and three KOs. In the second half my drive also never got anywhere with practically the entire game disolving into a big pushing match in the middle. A big mummy killed a runner so the Krushers are down to 11 again.

Game 6: Crushing rats is fun. A mighty game with lots of rats cycling on and off the pitch. Right before the first turn the rats get a blitz and score immediately in turn 1 after some clever dodging. The Krusher equalize by the end of the first half. In the second half there are just not enough rats on the pitch to secure the ball and eventually the second TD is scored.

Game 7: After battling orcs, undead and vampires it is was time to see if we can beat a speed team. On came the Wood Elves. And off they went again with 3 BH and 4 SIs. What remained of the WE team wasn't sufficient to stop a score in each half.

Game 8: Nobody around on gamefinder. Bumped into some pretty beaten up Rotters. About equal TS but a 60 point TR gap. Lots of niggles. I thought I bet on the virus and give it a go. No virus of course (infact, no really useful handicap at all). Suddenly my poor dwarfs are facing 3 nasty rotters and a beast with more skills than the player field can show without scrolling. Scary. Fortunately there were only 7 rotters. After lots of scary moments I scored in my first half. Second half saw some very wierd action. I kick the ball into his endzone, his sure hands beast fails to pick it up, the ball scatters into the endzone crowd, gets's thrown from there into the sideline crowd who then promptly throw it all the way into MY half and into the waiting arms of my blitzer. Needless to say I got a nice TD out of that drive. The third TD came in the final attempt of the rotters to score and my runner managed to sneak the ball out of the rotting mess :) And nobody got hurt! I was holding my breath during the entire game...

Game 9: Lots of Lizards on the pitch. Lots of them flying off the pitch in a very satisfying manner. At a tie score and only 3 turns to go my blitzer is within 2 steps of the endzone when he his kicked by a saurus, the ball scatters into the crowd and some lizard fan throws it right in front of a skink in my half who then promptly scores the 2:1 goal. The first loss for the Krushers!

Game 10: Some sons of Sigmar came onto the pitch. Classic caged TD by the Krushers in the first half. In the second half the humans don't protect the thrower, he fails to pick up, Krushers gangblock into his area and secure the ball -> second TD and the end of the game. Unfortunately Kark Steeltongue picked up a niggle on aging and shall be retired as soon as cash is available.

Game 11: Brutal crush of some Dark Elves. They just stalled the Krusher's drive in front of the end zone in the first half but there simply weren't enough elves on the pitch in the second half to stop me from robbing the ball and score. Two elves on the pitch in T16...

Game 12: More dark elves. These ones came with an odd proposal of "I will let you score 3 TDs if you do them fast and I get at least 2 TDs to raise my fan factor" after the first elfling got killed (but healed). Such things are just not honorable so the prompt reply was a troll slayer killing the first pesky elfling that happend to be in range (the others were all hiding far away from the ball and the dwarfs at that point) :) Not taking the "trade" cost the Krushers a victory but killing an elf is ample compensation for that :).

Game 13: Unlucky thirteen against some orcs. The Krushers completed their drive, the Orcs completed theirs and then in the final push of the Krushers everything fell just one dice roll short. Two aborted TDs (so close...) later and the game is a draw.

Game 14: Fouling the Foulness. Some nasty rotters come onto the pitch and right away set the tone with a fool. Unfortunately they must have misheard the instructions from the coach because the Krushers, not the rotters had the ref. Lots of fouls later one rotter is banned from the game and two beastmen are niggled. Nevertheless the Rotters can outrun the dwarfs and complete their drive. Plenty of time and no problem for the Krusher's drive - or so it seems until a blitzing beastman forces the runner to dump off.... right into the waiting arms of the blitzer who then simply walks the ball into the endzone. 2:0 and the second half start. More bashing, more fouls and finally in the last turn a longbeard scores the 2:1. Too little too late. The Krushers lost the game, the Rotters lost some of their team :)

Game 15: Chaos Madness. Completed the first drive, then stole a TD from the chaos drive to end the second half with 2:0. Unfortunately the chaos scum fouled and blocked four staunch dwarfs into the BH box while the chaos casualties just went into the KO box (and all recovered... a troll and two CWs...). Chaos completed their drive in the second half and after a tense game with a full team against 8 dwarfs scored the equalizer in the last turn. At least I got some MNG on a CW and beast :)

Game 16: Fighting the green horde again. As expected we have ourselves a mighty bash with plenty of orcs (and some dwarfs) flying off the pitch. The orcs intercept a sprint towards the endzone at the end of the first half and actually managed to convert it into a TD for them. The second half saw only 8 orcs on the pitch and the Krushers managed the equaliser.

Game 17: Seems like only orcs and chaos are willing to fight... eh... play... the Krushers at this point. Another orcling band. They intercept the Krusher's drive and score in the first half. Must have gone to their head though as they afterwards get cocky and try a tricky 2 GFI blitz to knock over a trollslayer. It fails and the Krushers promptly equalise with a elfling-like TD in the last two turns of the first half. The second half sees a tricky passing manouver of the orcs to place a fast blitzer on the sideline FAR away from the dwarfs bunched up in the centre. Some chain pushes later a longbeard breaks free of the pile and promptly blitzes the blitzer into the crowd (who then proceeds to rip him apart). Afterwards the Krushers calmly walk the ball into the endzone for the final 2:1 win.

Game 18: Norsemen try to bash, get their blitzer killed and conceed.

Game 19: Entry into the book of grudges: Don't play chaos teams with RSC/Claw combo on CW, some more beasts with claws and a DP... Almost lost somebody and definitely lost the game (though niggled one of those chaos creatures too :) )

Game 20: Very first turn, first action, our Troll Slayer gets knocked over and seriously injured... Should have gone home right then. Unfortunately the Krushers let themselves be goaded into continuing by the orcs and suffered for it. Zero skill points, decreased FF and FOUR serious injuries later the Krushers go home in defeat....

Game 21: Recovery game against some vampires. The Krushers can barely field 11 players but fortunately nobody goes missing during the game. The Vamps steal the first drive thanks to a failed pickup by the not so sure handed runner and a leaping vamp. Afterwards the Krusher fight back towards the endzone and are within easy steps of it when a slayer rolls four skulls in a row to end the first half. The second half sees another Vamp TD, a Krusher drive for the 1:2 and finally a desperate Krusher assault into the vampire endzone where the "throwing" vamp just left the field to find a maiden. Unfortunately, despite having 6:1 superiority in that region the Krushers can pick up the ball before the game ends in a 1:2 defeat. At least the Krushers did some stomping with 6 BHs and a Mng...

Game 22: Fought some slimy rotters who fight nothing but dwarfs. The rotters and Krushers slugged it out for 15 turns with several badly hurts on both sides a 50SSP rotter being crushed to death by the crowd. At the end Brog Borglinson breaks free and scores the 1:0. A win and a dead rotter, who more can a dwarf desire!
