Oblitzamanger needed money for his failing tournament so bad that he sought out and made a deal with the Old Ones themselves. But, when he was unable to pay them back, they were going to force him into servitude. However, instead of being turned into a Skink for all eternity, Oblitzamanger proposed that he coach a team of Lizardmen. The Old Ones agreed and sent their most blessed spawnings to serve under Coach Oblitzamanger, to win glory in their name. And to make sure that he was doing his job, they sent a Slann priest, Lord Amax, to watch over the team.
