---Preamble---

War Sore are a collection of chaos mutated abominations who have valiantly served their dark masters in many wars, but have been wounded in the line of battle.

They received the auspicious "Blood-Drenched Heart" medal, and have been retired from the field of battle.

Obviously, being Chaos, this kind of thing doesn't happen very often - which is why there is only about a dozen of them!

Being the patriotic chaos servants that they are, they couldn't stand to sit idly by in a veterans home and read the newspaper and eat the occasional traveller, so they formed a bloodbowl team using their military pensions!

---History---

War Sore's first game was a throwback to their service days - there were casualties all around against the Dwarves they fought, and at the start of the second half, the opponent surrendered and conceded the match, something War Sore were happy to accept the opponent's winnings and MVP award (after all, money drives all men, chaos or not).

---Since the "Great Break" of '08 ---

After a long period of downtime, Warsore returned to their first match against the Amazon team "Queens of Good Taste". War Sore won the toss, and elected to kick (all the better to focus on the pounding rather than the running away). War Sore pushed the Amazon women into a pocket by the sideline, and a lucky blitz stunned their backfield catcher. The thrower soon found herself all alone in the open field, with a couple of beastmen and a minotaur bearing down on her, and in her haste, she slipped and dropped the ball.

The Beastman known as "Brigadeer" picked the ball up, and scored with it. After this score, both sides removed their kid gloves - all in all, there were 13 casualties. The Amazonians made another push for the goalline, and due to a few of the aforementioned 13 casualties, managed to open chaos wide open and score on the 2nd last turn of the half.

In the second half, it was War Sore on the receiving team who managed to open the casualties. They drew the amazons in, and managed to get a couple of KOs and a casualty or two, and when their blitzers broke through the line, in very un-chaoslike fashion, the beastman in control of the ball lobbed it downfield to another beastman, who caught it, and scored. Very Elf-like.

The last series, which ended with a amazon score to bring it level, looked very much like it might end up with no chaos left on the field. An amazingly high level of casualties left few standing when it came down to it.
