They live for ale. They kill for ale. They bathe in ale. (Well, not too often, but at least twice in a year. And only in good dwarven beer, not in that weak human sweak or the laughable wine of those pesky elves. And, never, never in water. In so far, anyone can know this who accidentally draw breath near one of the teammates.) Some say (mostly the threathened journalists), the only reason cause the team is not the brightest star in the history of the Blood Bowl that they worshipping the ale not only in pubs, but on the pitch also (and because they’re play in Unranked division, but it matters not.) Not even the oldest longbeard of the Bastards remember a match when any of them weren’t drunken to the point of unconsciousness, and that, hard to say, but have a…er…minor effect on their playstyle. But you’ll never find a man (or any other creature) who dare to say this in the presence of a Bastard, if he (or she, or anything) don’t want all his bones to be broken. Historically, the team formed from some former members of the not so glorious (but also boozy) Karak Azgal’s Massive Drunkards. Pray that they’ll never come for you. (Don’t want to know what they will do with your precious alcohol supply…) And remember: never stay between a Bastard and his beer. |
