Team captain Erik the Red walks up to the Northland Blood Bowl League clerk to register a team the likes of which has never been seen. A side of brave Norsemen, ready to carve their way to victory on the Blood Bowl pitch. "Sign us up... the lads are itching to get started!" grinned Erik, slamming the bag of gold for the signup fee onto the crude wooden table.

"Name?" yawned the clerk.

"Erik the Red!" said Erik the Red, to the sound of drunken cheers behind him.

"Team name?" sighed the clerk.

"The crazy bare-knuckle bruisers of the North! The scourge of the softie South! The Barroom Brawlers!!" shouted Erik.

"Sir, there's already a team named the Barroom Brawlers. You'll have to reconsider, I'm afraid. There can't be two teams with the same name. Record keeping, you know?" drawled the clerk. Erik and his band of rather-too-merry men drew into a huddle. After a quick discussion, Erik spun on his heels and shouted: "The Barhouse Brawlers! A fine name, a name to fear! Sign us up!"

"Sir, are you aware that Barhouse is not an actual word, as such? You are, in fact, naming your team after something that does not exist. I suppose it could be a fearful name, insamuch as..." the clerk didn't get to finish his sentence, as the Erik kicked him in the kneecap and then bounced a handy chair off his skull. And so the Barhouse Brawlers got kicked out of the Northland Blood Bowl League.

Now they've joined FUMBBL, so stock up on the Bugmans and hide the china... and the tables... and the chairs, heheheh. The Barr...house Brawlers are here!
