Halflings have never been expert blood bowl players, but that hasn't stopped a new generation of enthusiastic eaters starting a team, and so the Moot Massmurderers formed. Interestingly enough, they won their first match 2 to 1 and caused four injuries, three of them even committed by halfling players! It is thought that the promise of a nine-course celebration dinner has woken the team spirit, and this is one team that halfling fans are actually expecting good things from!

Memorable matches:

The second team outing against the Squig Herder team Orca-Cola, where the treemen blockers caused so much carnage that the star player Deeproot Strongbranch( who had taken root in the spectator stands in contemplation) uprooted himself and waded onto the field, declaring that he would play for the Massmurderers! The coach readily paid his fee of 90,000 gold crowns and the rest, as they say, is history.
(Although it soon became clear that Strongbranch had been hitting the fermented fruits pretty hard and acted boneheaded through the next match against the Chaos team Animals, it was a bloody spectacle seeing a minotaur, beastman and Chaos warrior hitting the dugout, the last dying from his wounds!).

Tenth game against goblin cheaters Da Uvver Tiim, an extremely bloody spectacle of tree-trunk blocks and chainsaws resulting in over 13 casualties, and the untimely death of star hafling rusher Ungo Beltbreaker. The match ended a gory 1-1 stalemate thanks to a last-ditch end-turn touchdown as Deeproot Strongbranch threw Jakki Jackettailor into the Uvver Tiim endzone! Ungo Beltbreaker will be sorely missed, as will the many other 'Murderers players killed and crippled in this game, but new talent is coming in, but the team remains optimistic. If one isn't too banged up to eat the post-game dinner, one hasn't lost in their view!
