| ..and then came to the Great Evil, The Thing That Should Not Be, the news that all the good and just races had set up their own Blood Bowl league, excluding his evil minions from their ranks. The Great Evil was enraged, and after deciding that gnashing his nails was both gross and boring, he though up an evil and most wicked plan. Unfortunately for him, toilet seats are quite incorruptible, and considering their daily treatment, also quite unimpressed by threats. Having thus been twarted, The Great Evil decided to instead gather the spirits of some of his most evil Crooks and Villains, and possess a number of creatures of one of the allowed races. Considering the options, he eventually decided that the Dwarves would be the ones most able to inflict pain and suffering upon all the good and nice people playing in the tournament. He prepared a great spell of mind control, using several carrots and one of the afore-mentioned toilet seats in the spell, and the spell thus being powered by these potent ingredients succeeded in mind-wiping a group of Dwarves returning from a minor skirmish with a giant and his goblin cohorts. Thus the evil spirits of crooks and villains began taking control of the helpless dwarves, however the Great Evil had not taken the incredible magic resistance of Dwarves into account. Therefore only 11 dwarves were possessd initially. The possession of more dwarves would require additional ingredients, and since The Great Evil was in a bit of a low on income at the time, the 11 evils would have to earn gold on the field of battle (or rather the Blood Bowl field!) before their ranks could swell. |
