Although there are many more that also deserve a mention (some will come into the team in future) this includes a lot of the ones who have brought me much musical enjoyment. <img src="/FUMBBL/Images/Player/150/150687.jpg" border="2"><br> The name 'Diggin in the Crates' comes from the name of an act formed by hip-hop legend 'Diamond D' (team captain) who was also in 'Ultimate Force' and the 'Omen'. He has also gained production kudos, on selected albums/tracks, for other acts such as 'A Tribe Called Quest', 'The Fugees', 'Mos Def', 'Brand Nubian', 'Busta Rhymes', 'Ed O.G. & Da Bulldogs', 'Fat Joe', 'House of Pain', 'KRS-One', 'Lord Finesse & DJ Mike Smooth', 'Pharoahe Monch', 'Showbiz and A.G', 'Tha Alkaholiks', 'The Pharcyde', 'Xzibit' and 'Aim'. <img src="/FUMBBL/Images/Player/150/150696.jpg" border="2"><br> The full members list of the group 'D.I.T.C.' was: 'Showbiz and A.G.', 'Big L (deceased)', 'Buckwild', 'Diamond D', 'Fat Joe', 'Lord Finesse', and 'O.C.' <img src="/FUMBBL/Images/Player/150/150699.jpg" border="2"><br> The name also has a personal reference to the fact that i have music showcasing all of the team members in my record collection (i.e. 'The Crates'). <img src="/FUMBBL/Images/Player/150/150701.jpg" border="2"><br> I can assure you, that while i do like some modern hip-hop/rap music i will not be including many of it's so called stars (i.e. the 'G-Unit's of this world). Mainly this is because i feel that many of the top hip-hop/rap acts now are nothing more than self promoting, product banners (like a billboard) and lifestyle selling ego maniacs that promote little, other than some of the most unpleasant parts of modern society. Shame on them, in my eyes. <img src="/FUMBBL/Images/Player/150/150698.jpg" border="2"><br> I believe this is the main reason that the music world is flooded with acts that act in a reprehensible way, trying to look cool but just mudddying the waters between hip-hop/rap and r&b, rarely ever coming close to producing something that could live up to the genuine greats of both/either musical genres.
