<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tr><td align="left" valign="top" width="400"><b>The rise to power.</b> The original <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=45556">Disgruntled Evangelists</a> were my favorite team here on Fumbbl. In fact it was my favorite team ever. When I first created them I had set out to destroy some of the well known Chaos teams, at the time. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=5642">Deathgerbils Revenge</a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=4020">Bubble Gum Crisis</a> were my primary targets and I actually did manage to be responsible for the retirement of BGC. They retired one game after playing me, but it was due to the lasting damage I had caused. After that I decided to continue playing, I had gathered a lot of interest due to my 'theme' and destruction I left in my wake. Several people still see the Evangelists as one of the most interesting Chaos teams on Fumbbl. For we not only maimed people but there were several periods of it's duration that I had changed my playstyle, dropping all Claws and Dp's to engage in touchdowns and scoring. All that jazz. As such it was difficult for me to finally disband the team, but I had enough of the constant struggle to keep the team going. I had taken a lot of flack over the two years I played them and finding games was becoming too much of a hassle. Their final match would be one to <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=878343">remember</a>. Yet I do miss the players, the pictures, the bio's, the theme itself. And so I have begun anew with a second edition. So far, so good. I have high expectations. |
