| From out of the scathing winds of the sandstorm, a group of dark figures emerge. The silhouette of a ruined pyramid is scarcely visible through the haze behind them. Awkwardly they stride, stumbling slowly out unto the unprepared world. The call off the Liche Priest has torn them from their eternal slumber. Their desiccated bodies strengthened by fell magics and eerie rune-marked helms. The tattered remnants of their minds now bent to a singular purpose. Their will focused on a game of death and an odd spiked ball. Their silent maws gape wordlessly, mouthing a single word into perpetuity. A mantra that they cannot deny, “…BLOODBOWL …”. The evil Liche Priest has dedicated his un-life to the creation of his team and the malevolent magics that sustain it. Through constant manipulation, he has endowed his helmets with potent enchantments adding agility and speed to his skeletons. He labors tirelessly searching for the right combination of abilities that will allow his team to triumph on the pitch. FOOTNOTE: Now if only he can figure out a way to keep the fans interested. Fortunately, it is rumored that a rotting old tome exits with the alchemical component list necessary to create a Helm of Fanatical Loyalty. Perhaps this should be his next project when time permits ... although there has been some recent success the first three rolls were natural ones. (1,1,1,2,6,2,2) |
