<i> Hailing from ulthuan from the beginning, these specialised elves decided to play on there human decendant heratige to get a space in the empire's army, they wanted a challenge that was far bigger than just "working for the elders"

During the 4 years the 16 elves worked there way through the ranks at a rapid rate, each of them being able to through there elven roots, they had far more agility than the standard human and could work in a pitchfight far better than most

Eventually, at the end of the 4 years, all 16 of them had been put in command of there own divisons, thanks to keeping in close contact, they had all watched each others exploits...but at there peak, and what is rare for the empire, they gave the option to retire from service, all 16 happily accepted noting they were all lucky to be in one piece

during an excursion around ulthuan, after traveling back, one of the main leaders heard a whistle in the trees, due to there empire training they understood this to be stealthish wood elves, they sat and crouched down, keeping ever so still, all of a sudden a loud crack was heard, but that was not the biggest suprise, it was one of the elves that made the crack, what he had done, was pin down a stealth wardancer

being an elf he pinned the wardancer up against a tree, demanding to know, not only why he was so quiet, but where he had learnt these almost heretical stealth tactics, being under no way to run away, the wardancer explained his reasons

the elves were astounded, to use stealth as a bloodbowl technique...it shocked them, but strangely excited them, it was an effect not before used and seemed to be working fantasticly well on the origin...and being the types to take a challenge, the elves asked to be taught these techniques

eventually, the elves and the wood elves split apart, both knowing the training was done, but both knowing the next time they met, would not be under such...friendly circumstances, just before they left, the wood elves gave a parting gift, a saying to take with them on there travels as a newly formed bloodbowl squad
