Founded to represent the great Auld World Empire city of Pomfret.<br /> <br /> When the team was first created, pride resounded through the land. Unfortunately after a first 10 dismal games with one win the feelings of pride have been replaced with frustration and humiliation.<br /> <br /> While much of the Auld world is giving up on the team, and considering them the laughing stock of the regions Blood Bowl teams the head coach and owner has not turned his back on them. His only response to their troubles is, "We're building a strong team by first teaching humbleness and humility. As long as we survive and endure to the next game, we will get stronger."<br /> <br /> The first current problem for the Red Lions is player health. Many great names have signed with the team, only to wind up with debilitating injuries and death. The second problem that seems to plague the Lions is that Nuffle hates them with a sheer vengeance seldom seen on any other team. Most teams have good games and bad games. At this time, the Lion's bad game streak seems eternal.<br /> <br /> Commemorating their 15th game and a pathetic performance thus far, the Lions have brought on "The Field Marshall" Andrew Farmer to lead the team on. He is a stout perfectionist and play-maker who has the reputation for keeping Nuffle in a good mood, "happily in his back pocket." If he can stay healthy, maybe good things are in store for the hapless Lions! </td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> </tr> </table> |
