[X2] Dark Elf
| The Fledgling Dark Elf team started their season with a defeat to the Wood Elf team the Grey Falcons. In the match they had the lead and were coasting and heading into half time 1 - 0 up before a failed throw turned the ball over to the falcons. The Falcons took the opportunity and scored a TD with little time left in the first half leaving the Shadows determined to regain the lead before the half-time whislte. A strong push forward had the Shadows Witch-Elf Shan-sho hugging the touchline looking for the ball when one of the Falcons blitzers smashed her out of play and in to the opposition fans. The funeral was held the next day. The game went from bad to worse for the Shadows and the falcons turned the match in their favour early in the second half. A short pass to the end-zone was intercepted by the same blitzer that removed the light from Shan-sho's eyes and he played the bad up the pitch for the TD. With no time left and no way back into the game the Shadows must now try to re-group and push on in their next match. The need for a new player to bring the roster up to 11 is the next major challenge to be faced by their rookie coach Goblinho Santiago. * * * * * * * * * * * |
