| The Roughriders have had a tough history that was built on promise but shadowed by what-could-have-been so many centuries ago. The team has nearly been folded 18 times, bankrupt 7, and purged 43 times. Giving any core team little hope of a bright future. It is accepted that to be a roughrider is to have terrible luck on the field. Such heavy storm clouds have done little to drive away fans through, who look to see the grinding the Roughriders give to opposing teams sure to a drive of fit and anger. The current roster does not promise any miracles of winning, but the fact the Riders were able to qualify for the new GWBL has given the city of Karak-Azul hope this team may be able to bring some pride back to this city, |
