In the distant lands of Cathay lies the underground city of Khaytan.
Within its depths the clans of the Nezumijin, the rat people, constantly war for supremacy.
After an unsuccessfull bid for the Teishu mantle Daimyo Tetsuo Watanabe had no option but to leave the sacred city to amass fame and fortune before returning.
With his Hatamoto he travelled to the old world to hire his services as mercenary. Known for their deadly night attacks through kislev and the worlds edge mountains the nightblades were one night hired by a strange Necromancer. It seemed that he had a bet running on a Blood bowl game but was unsure about his undead team and wanted the nightblades to take the field instead.
Tetsuo loved the game instantly. The nightblades butchered the opposing team. Literally. Even the ref who kept screaming some nonsense about weapons not being allowed in the field.
Realizing that blood bowl might be a faster way to riches and glory Tetsuo started preparing his troop for the game and is now ready for his first tourney...
