Erengrad's high grey walls are the last safe haven for a civilized person before the Troll country and the North Lands. As such it is a bastion. Breaking the intermitant waves of Chaos' ebbing tide. A preternaturally unhappy place, of cold, weary, sad people. Who go restlessly and unforunate to their graves. Outside the city walls, in the wide acres of grave ditches, every night, 'they' are to be found. Shuffling through the ice heavy fog, on frost blighted dirt, under the silver half-light of the moon; the play things of the Necromancer Stanislav Yeltsz. Yeltsz's consuming abuse of dark magic, and of the city's dead, remain a secret. One of the few amusements the people of Erengrad have is Bloodbowl. They will turn out in the hundreds if not thousands to watch the Coldlight Wanderers play... In their bonfire-tower lit evening games. The stands far from the touchline. With viewing lenses banned... There are no interviews, and no autographs with the Wanderers. The team colours are: Black & White. The team motto is: 'Forever. Relentless.' |
