Naggarond Shades
Roster [X2] Dark Elf

The Naggarond Shades are the first and only team fully sponsored by the dark city of Naggarond. The Witch King himself commissioned their creation in order to take the Blood Bowl by storm (and blood!) ... at least, that's what the head coach swears up and down anytime he is asked! In all likelihood, it is the same lie that was told to the Shades in order to get them to sign on (not that they had much choice).

Each and every player of the Naggarond Shades, as the roster currently stands, was conscripted from the ranks of the dark hosts and Corsair legions, right under the nose of Malekith. Whether or not this was done in a legal sense remains to be seen, but it's highly unlikely you'll hear the coach giving any clues...

The team is co-captained by two outstanding young Corsairs straight off the Black Arks, the Iceswift twins - Lonael and Korlael. The team's only Blitzers (for now!) are a truly despicable duo and they like to make sure their opponents know it! The last time they were caught roughing up a poor Brettonnian sap and threatened to be thrown out of the game, the twins turned their full attention to the referee himself!

When asked to comment, the Shades' coach merely stated, "The referees need to know their place."

Before every match, the team typically pulls down a spectator from the crowd for a sacrifice to the god Khaine; whether this is done for some religious reason or purely because they enjoy the sight remains to be revealed, but one thing is for sure - the rest of the crowd goes nuts every time!

Although a young team by Blood Bowl standards, the elves clad in black with their faces covered while on the field are shaping up to be a very nasty looking group! The Naggarond Shades are definitely going to be making their name known, for better or for worse, throughout this L.O.B.B.A. season.
