First Game - vs. Lizards. Brutal and we lost Zmm (Runner). Fortunate to get a draw and enough winnings to replace him. Six games in and still looking for a win - this isn't good... Game 9 - Lizards... this was going to be bad, thought I. Then a massive pitch invasion in my favour (took out 7 of his players), a Blitz too... The team did their best to make the worst of their newfound good luck but managed their first win and saved themselves from retirement. Next goal - have a positive record by Game 25... Game 20 - first game on FUMBBL for around 3 years. Satisfied with a draw, but annoyingly 2 MNG and 10k short of *finally* replacing a Witch Elf. Game 22 - another humiliation for the team. The rookie Witch Elf should have died but saved by the Apo (so she can suffer another injury two turns later). Dougie did die. Wins and Draws = Losses at this point, and coach on the verge of retiring the team... |
