Swartzhafen Nightmares
Retired [B] Shambling Undead

While many Undead teams are created through either a mix of desperation or an ambitious necromancer, the Swartzhafen Nightmares have a more peculiar origin.

During a particularly violent match between a Goblin and Chaos team, where both sides had lost the majority of players, a Wizard in the stands attempted to assassinate the Goblin's head Coach, Geralt Yivaril. Unfortunately (Though to the delight of the fans) the spell backfired and released a tremendous barrage of great fiery orbs from the wizard's staff. While the Goblin's head coach was indeed hit, the stadium and the surrounding lands were bombarded by the magical projectiles, ravaging the lands. It was when one of these magical projectiles struck the soil within Sylvania, where the already restless dead returned to unlife. The Swartzhafen Nightmares were born.

While some would believe being suddenly awaken from a long slumber would certainly make one grumpy, the Nightmares were more than eager to enter the Blood Bowl field. Amongst them, Ulric Blooddrinker, one of the older and more famous blitzers in Blood Bowl history, has returned with a fiery vengeance. After kidnapping a Necromancer to do their bidding, the Nightmares had finally gathered all of the members they required to form a full team. With his fellow Wight, Conrad, and having a vicious horde of undead at their disposal, Ulric intends to take the Open Leagues by storm.
