Skavens are strange creatures, they are survivors, not strong, but hey do they have many kids. This gives the opportunity to try out a few potentially dangerous things. Like working unprotected with a lot of radiations, or testing dark magics.

Sometimes, it's just the simple things. Rats enjoy life as much as any other creatures, but food tends to be scarce when you have 58 brothers and sisters 945 nephews and nieces. So this Skaven alchemist tried a new recipe made from the most accessible source of food. This brew needed a long time to mature. Early test caused many dozens of casualties.

Today Hay and Double Yew Rude Beer is a unique beverage made out of one of the most toxic tree and simple hay, added with a little honey for a good fermentation. A few rats die once in a while, but they were too young or too old to hold their drinks. The brewery's fame is known troughout the whole underworld and to get a little exposure they bought a Blood Bowl Team and hopefully they will detrone the legendary Blood Weiser as the official Brew.
