[R] Lizardmen
| In the bloodstained desserts of the Lizard Nation newborns were often abandoned by their parents for various reasons in a highly competitive country where you were judged by everyone. The king abandoned his own half dragon son so that the public would never learn of his association with the much hated draconian race. However the baby was not weak but his dual heritage meant he was a natural killing machine and happily fed off the other children and the wildlife who lived in that area. One day he saw several skinks dashing towards the roads of triumphs up redrock mountain, being chased by the Shadow Bandits, a cult of bloodthirsty skaven who prayed to Nurgle, one of the four chaos Gods. The Draco-Kroxigor intervened, tearing toshreds any ratmen which didn't die to his fiery breath. Of course the Skaven king took offence and so that war was not waged a party of Sarus was sent by the lizardmen to capture the boy and offer him up to Emperor Louis of Ratlovia. Without a name he was referred to as the dragon and was forced to fight among other lizardmen in a bloodbowl arena against various other races who had also been captured by skaven warlords. One day, in a rebellion, the prisinors managed to escape but when the lizardmen got out they heards news of the destruction of their nation. With nowhere else to go, they fleed to Brettonia and began thinking up a plan to restore the lizardmens' former glory, while playing bloodbowl in their spare time as a source of income. |
