Aleyn had a subdued first game, but really came alive in the next game against the Furry Bandits, scoring a TD and getting MVP. The extra confidence from this performance and some hard training seems to have made Aleyn quicker off the blocks and given him increased stamina.

In the very next game against the Ripsnorting Gobsmackers this new speed paid off in spades, with Aleyn taking the ball on the flank from a touchback and simply busting down the side line. The slower orcs could catch up but couldn't stop him scoring the touchdown. This gutsy play earned him MVP and thus a second skill in as many games. His fancy footwork has developed into the full Dodge ability, making him one of the key players on the team.

Aleyn continues to earn MVP awards even in games where he did relativelty little, with 3 of the teams 6 MVP awards to date.

He now has 4 of 11 MVP awards, and has progressed to a third skill. However, despite being the teams best player in the early games, he has now been surpassed by others with Ag and ST increases. In order to best use his 8 3 3 8 Block/Dodge statline, he is being groomed as a backfield sweeper and has received intensive training in the Tackle skill.

Blaise is the last of the original blitzers on the team to earn his first skill, but the coaching staff has no doubt he will develop further.

Indeed, he scored 2 TD in his next match as a direct result of new confidence in both his catching and dodging skills based on an improvement in his agility.

In a very ragged game vs a strong Chaos team, Blaise used this new agility numerous times to dodge and twice to throw completions, including for the game winning touchdown. This gave him a new +1ST, accelerating him into the position of the key player on the team.

Unfortunately in the 32nd turn of a game versus the Servants of the 13, after the result was already decided, a spiteful fan threw a rock and hit Blaise, causing a niggling injury that the Apothecary failed to heal.

What a pointless waste of a brilliant talent.

Caradoc got his first taste of glory in the Knights second match, with a TD early in the first half. However, the game was abandoned (conceded) and so he lost the chance for further heroics. He may be sulking now, since he didn't do anything noteworthy in the next game.

Caradoc came back with a vengeance in his 4th game, scoring both touchdowns to earn his first skill.

Dinodan emerged early as the Knights lead scorer, with 2 TD in 2 games. He has also developed fearsome strength.

He then transitioned into a role of supporting the line of scrimmage and making key blitzes, whilst letting his teammates share the glory. This meant it took a while for him to get to his second skill, but he got there and now he's looking light one of the team's key players.

Escanor was being watched carefully back in the Albion leagues by the Knights recruiters, and showed consistent talent. However, it took about 4 or 5 games for him to get up to speed once he joined the Knights. There was more to this than simply nervousness on joining the big leagues. For one thing, he joined just as the Knights were getting serious about developing a legitimate passing game - a lot of pressure for a rookie thrower in an experienced team!

More importantly, he was brought up from the home country earlier than expected to replace the first and second string starting Knights throwers that were both very publicly, and very thoroughly killed during games against brutal opponents. It doesn't help that in several early games he was thrown onto the line of scrimmage after the Knights were down several men, and experienced some beatings of his own. That kind of history has to leave a mark on a young man!

Still, in the last few games Escanor has started to pump out regular passes, and is starting to live up to his promise. It may help that he has a regular partner now to share the workload.

Frollo had done nothing of note until the Knights 5th game against the Dark Elves, where he scored both touchdowns and righfully received the MVP award. This experience gave him the Block skill.

Huon is another in a string of Linemen who have a series of very quiet performances and then burst into the limelight in a single game. In this case, Huon scored 2 touchdowns in the game against the Orc Aaarg Starz, earning himself the block sill.

Huon has progressed steadily and become one of the Knights key players, providing assists and tackle zones wherever needed. However, in a game against some Amazons the coach refused Huon access to the Apothecary as it was early in the game and other key players might need him later.

This has really come back to haunt the team, since Huon is now a shadow of his former self and is asking to retire. Without another Guard Lineman to take his place, the team will miss him greatly.

Edris is the teams first female player, only allowed to join because of the severe short-staffing in the throwing department. She has got off to a slow but steady start and is starting to perform well along-side the teams other thrower. Since she initially wanted to play Blood Bowl as a Catcher, she is hoping to develop into a ball carrying role.

Another lineman to start off his tally with a touchdown and the MVP in a single game, Johdram has done little overall but still has time to flourish.

Kaherdin's predecessors in the number 11 spot for the Knights played 13 games each without gaining a single SPP. That's 26 total games, 0 SPP. Both died during their 13th game.

Not a good omen for Kaherdin, but he is determined to reverse the curse surrounding his position.

Lancre has struggled for a spot on the teams starting line-up since he was hired, facing stiff competition from other players with more experience. However due to a large number of casualties in a game vs a Chaos team he took the field and caught a pass for the winning TD on turn 16. Maybe this breakthrough performance will get him more game time in future.

Indeed it has! Lancre now has 5 touchdowns in the last 3 games, and has increased his strength so that he no longer has to listen to the taunts of his team-mates. In fact, Lancre is fast becoming a key player on the team, and if he can only get better service from the throwers he will have more star performances soon.

Lancre has continued his tear, scoring touchdowns at a relentless pace.

He has reached 51SPP at a record pace for the team, and as a reward his Ag has increased. This makes him an amazing player, and basically the teams 5th Blitzer and a catcher all rolled into one.

Unfortunately he also aged into a niggle at the same time, which could cut short a brilliant career.
