When Dan Foutz become GM the first thing he did was get his son as QB. Who else to lead this team to glory then the son of the best QB San Diego has ever seen!!

Things never worked out in the NFL for Kellen. He rubbed too many people the wrong way and eventually no team wanted him even tho he has temendous talent.

His dad had to call in a favor to former pass combo partner Dan Foutz to get him on the Riptide.

With his ego now checked from humility he is now trying to prove himself once again NFL material by shattering every record possible in the AFL2.

Not being used by Los Angeles, Greg Hopkins was aquired in a trade to San Diego for essentially a bad of peanuts, a 12 pack of beer, and a beachball.

Mike Williams was drafted 10th overall in the 2005 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions. Mike, not liking Detroit for one, and loving California for two refused to play for them.

Having already sat out a year of football he choose to play for San Diego until he is traded by Detroit to another team. Of coarse that GM in Detroit is a hard head so Mike may be wearing Riptide colors for a while.

Marshall, frustrated with the way the Rams would never run the ball, decided to retire from the NFL.

Sure that he had a few years left on his body, and unable to get the Rams to trade him, he decided to come back to where he played college and play for the Riptide.

He bings vetern leadership to a young team with almost no pro ball experience cept for Hopkins.
