"I'm really glad I came here, you know? I've been all wrongheaded about this. Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else. I want Dru back, I've just gotta be the man I was, (stands proud) the man she loved. I'm gonna do what I shoulda done in the first place: I'll find her, wherever she is, tie her up, torture her until she likes me again. (goes to leave) Love's a funny thing."

BtVS Season 4:

(There's a knock at the door. Buffy goes to answer it and Spike is standing there, cowering below a smoking blanket.)

SPIKE: Help me.

(Buffy shoves him back and he goes tumbling.)

SPIKE: Ohh! What part of "help me" do you not understand?

BUFFY: The part where I help you.

SPIKE: Come on, I'm parboiling out here.

BUFFY: Want me to help make it quicker?

SPIKE: Invite me in.

GILES: No. It's fairly unlikely.

SPIKE: Oh, damn it! look, I'm safe. I can't bite anyone. Willow, tell' em what I did.

WILLOW: You said you were gonna kill me, then Buffy.

SPIKE: Yes, bad, but let's skip that part and get to the part where I couldn't bite you.

WILLOW: It's true. He had trouble performing.

SPIKE: Yeah, well, it looks like they've done me for good. Um...

BUFFY: What are you saying?

SPIKE: I'm saying that Spike had a little trip to the vet and now he doesn't chase the other puppies anymore. I can't bite anything. I can't even hit people.

BUFFY: So you haven't murdered anybody lately? Let's be best pals.

XANDER: Spike?

GILES: What are you doing here?

SPIKE: Me? Hey, I'm not the one out of place here.

XANDER: For your information, smarty, we've got a rogue Slayer on our hands. Real psycho-killer too.

SPIKE: Sounds serious.

GILES: It is. What do you know?

SPIKE: What do you need?

XANDER: Her. Dark hair. Yay (Indicates) tall, name of Faith, criminally insane.

GILES: Have you seen her?

SPIKE: Is this bird after you?

XANDER: In a bad way, yeah.

SPIKE: Tell you what I'll do then. I'll head out, find this girl, tell her exactly where you are and then watch as she kills you. Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all? Just because I can't do the damage myself doesn't stop me from aiming a loose cannon your way. And here I thought the evening be dull.

XANDER: Go ahead. You wouldn't even recognise her.

SPIKE: Dark hair, this tall (Indicates), name of Faith, criminally insane. Like this girl already.

(he walks off)

XANDER: We're dumb.

<b>BtVS Season 1:</b>

<b>BtVS Season 3:</b>

WESLEY: Of course, training procedures have been updated quite a bit since your day. Much greater emphasis on field work.

GILES: (very bored) Really?

WESLEY: Oh, yes. Not all books and theory nowadays. I have, in fact, faced two vampires myself. Under controlled circumstances, of course.

GILES: Well, no danger of finding those here.

WESLEY: Vampires?

GILES: Controlled circumstances.

<b>BtVS Season 1:</b>

WILLOW: I've seen so much. I thought I could take anything. But, Buffy, this... this was different.

BUFFY: It'll be alright.

WILLOW: I'm trying to think how to say it... to explain it so you understand.

BUFFY: It doesn't matter as long as you're okay.

WILLOW: I'm not okay. I knew those guys. I go to that room every day. And when I walked in there, it... it wasn't our world anymore. They made it theirs. And they had fun. What are we gonna do?

<b>BtVS Season 1:</b>

"Hey! You think I'm never lonely because I'm so cute and popular? I can be surrounded by people and be completely alone. It's not like any of them really know me. I don't even know if they like me half the time. People just want to be in a popular zone. Sometimes when I talk, everyone's so busy agreeing with me, they don't hear a word I say."

<b>BtVS Season 3:</b>

ANYA: What a day. (to the bartender) Gimme a beer.

Bartender: I.D.

She gives him an incredulous look.

Bartender: I.D.

ANYA: (loses it, thumps her fists on the bar) I'm eleven hundred and twenty years old! Just gimme a friggin' beer!

Bartender: I.D.

ANYA: (sighs, defeated) Gimme a Coke.

<b>Angel Season 2:</b>

"I got lost. I got lost, and they did terrible things to me, but, but it was just a storybook. It was just a story with monsters, not real. Not in the world but - but if you're here and you see me then - then it's real! And it did happen. If you see what they made of me... I - I didn't mean to get so lost!"

<b>Angel Season 3:</b>

"Look - I could go home with you and pretend the last five years didn't happen. - I could even pretend to have a normal life. - But the truth of it is... Well, I'm not normal anymore."

<b>BtVS Season 2:</b>

WILLOW: Do you wanna make out with me?

OZ: What?

WILLOW: Forget it. I'm sorry. Well, do you?

OZ: Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage. (pause) Oh, I'm not gonna kiss you.

WILLOW: What? But freeze frame!

OZ: Well, to the casual observer, it would appear that you're trying to make your friend Xander jealous or even the score or something. And that's on the empty side. See, in my fantasy when I'm kissing *you*, you're kissing *me*. It's okay. I can wait.

<b>Angel Season 1:</b>

"I don't need advice from some middle-class white dude that's dead! You don't know what my life is. You got no idea what it's like down here."

<b>Angel Season 2:</b>

GUNN: Okay. I'm still trying to get this family tree straight. - Darla sired Angel.

WESLEY: Correct.

GUNN: And Angel sired this Drusilla?

WESLEY: Back when he and Darla were together, yes.

GUNN: But before Angel got his soul back, right?

WESLEY: Certainly.

GUNN: Now these lawyers, they brought Darla back as human. Now this Drusilla-vamp goes and bites Darla?

WESLEY: So it would seem.

GUNN: Making her a vampire again.

WESLEY: That's the cosmological upshot, yes. Darla's human self has died and sometime before dawn, unless Angel can stop it, she will rise again, a soulless demon.

GUNN: So that means... No, no, what I'm saying is, that means the granddaughter remade the grandmother.

WESLEY: Oh... - yes.

GUNN: Man, somehow that weirds me out more than the whole bloodsucking thing.

<b>Angel Season 3:</b>

GUNN: You got to promise not to laugh.

FRED: I promise.

GUNN: It's gotta come from the heart.

FRED: Will you stop being such a little girl? I said, I promise.

(Gunn steps out into view, revealing his tux. Fred surveys him and bursts out laughing.)

GUNN: This is what your promises are worth? I'm having a lot of trust issues at this time in my life.

FRED: It's just - my god, you're so pretty.

GUNN: You know there's not a lot of people could say that to me and live. But - the way you look - there is no way I can fight you.

<b>BtVS Season 4:</b>

"The problem is, what kind of girl is gonna go out with a guy who's acting all joe regular by day and then turns all demon-hunter by night?"

<b>Angel Season 1:</b>

"They put their faith in something, Rieff. You don't have to if you don't want to. Maybe Angel doesn't know what he's doing. It's possible. But the other option: losing yourself somewhere, hoping it all goes away, I *know* that never works."
