Torvus Bloodbeard hails from the Dark Range mountains and is renowned for his feriocity (mainly lack of brains) in fights. Once he charged a whole batallion of orcs who were so amazed they never knew what hit them. In his old age he has realized that Blood Bowl is a much better occupation, you still get to bash Orcs and Goblins and you get paid to do it, also there is fresh orange juice.

Ligur Orcsmasher is an up-and-coming Troll Slayer who was recently bought by the World Edge Wanderers for his incredible Charge of the Tight Crusade where he single-handedly ran through a canyon which was bombarded by rocks from Trolls and Orcs. This also brought by the now famous phrases "Rocks to the left of him, rocks to the right of him, volley and thunder".

For this feat he was awarded a place in the World Edge Wanderers where he feels he fits in for two reasons, the first being there are many Orcs and Trolls to beat up and the second being there are many Orcs and Trolls to beat up.

Mighty Blow
Rorun Oakenshield comes from a long line of Blood Bowl players. Being able to trace his lineage back to the first Dwarves who battled against the Orcs that sacred day when The Rules were found, the Oakenshields have the game of Blood Bowl in their blood. This mainly means they live close to and happen to train on the "wrong" side of the the Goblin lands and just happen to cause a skirmish or two each day in order to keep in shape.
